How To Choose Refractory Material Of Intermediate Frequency Furnace

Intermediate frequency electric furnace lining uses refractories, acidic, neutral and alkaline refractory materials are widely used in intermediate frequency coreless furnace, induction furnace, intermediate frequency furnace,application for melt gray iron, ductile iron, malleable cast iron, vermicular cast iron and cast iron,melting alloy, carbon steel and alloy steel, high manganese steel.
The refractory used in intermediate frequency electric furnacemust have the features as follows:
1.Under sufficient temperature, with performance of no deformation, no melting.
2.With the necessary structural strength at high temperature without softening deformation.
3.In high temperatures condition, the volume must be stable and not subject to expansion and contraction result in cracks.
4.When the temperature changes rapidly or the heating is uneven, it will not break or peel.
5.The material can resist the chemical erosion of metal solution, slag and furnace gas.
According to the different requirements of customers,refractory materials have different selection, mainly divided into the following categories: Refractory acid refractory acid lining materials, using high pure microcrystalline quartz sand, powder, adding high temperature sintering agent and mineralizing agent mixture of dry vibration material, strictly control the amount of size and sintering agent, so work in various knotting method can achieve dense lining always.
The products are mainly used in the melting process of gray iron, ductile iron, carbon steel casting factory in, and suitable for continuous high temperature environment, can also be used for high temperature titanium alloys and non-ferrous metal smelting. Neutral lining material made by corundum sand and powder adding magnesium aluminum spinel powder and sintering agent mixed into dry ramming material. The particle size distribution accordance with maximum packing density theory, so dense uniform lining can be through various knotting method, mainly used for all kinds of alloy steel, carbon steel, stainless steel, this material has good thermal shock resistance, volume stability and high temperature strength, and lining back loose layer keep in normal use.
Alkaline lining materials made with fused or high purity magnesia, magnesium powder, adding aluminum spinel powder and sintering agent mixed into dry ramming material. The particle size distribution accordance with the maximum packing density theory, so can be obtained through a variety of dense knots uniformly heated lining, mainly used for a variety of high alloy steel, carbon steel, high manganese steel, tool steel, stainless steel, the material has high refractoriness and high temperature strength, and lining back loose layer keep in normal use. Due to the effects of mineralizer,the coreless induction furnace refractory material by first baking after sintering a- phosphorus quartz with high conversion rate, so the drying time is short, volume stability, thermal shock resistance and high temperature strength, in normal use conditions, keep loose backing.
